April Mantel

Happy Easter everyone!

We had a wonderful, productive, and fun filled weekend.

Check out my new April mantel.

 Remember these…

I gave them one coat of acrylic paint with a foam brush to give them a rustic look.

I feel like the whole arrangement is missing something.

Maybe it needs more flowers?

I feel a trip to Hobby Lobby in the works.

March Mantel

So I’m pretty much done with winter.  We really didn’t have one around here, and spring fever has officially taken over.  This is probably why I was more than ready to switch out the February mantel a few days early.

Say hello to March!

When I started this little project, I envisioned a lot more green.

For someone who loves green as much as I do, I really don’t have a lot of it…décor wise.

My goal was to not buy anything for this mantel.  It was really hard for me to not go to Hobby Lobby on this one.
